ECD Studio, at oksapp.com, is run by Alecsandru Spiridon as a personal project. This page says what the site keeps about you, who else handles it, and how to have it removed. Questions and requests: [email protected].
What is kept
- Your account. When you sign in with Google, the site receives your name and email address, and nothing else from your Google account. It keeps them with the state of your access (requested, approved or blocked), when you asked for access, and when you first and last used the site.
- Your session. A cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. It holds a random token and nothing about you; the session it names is kept on the server.
- Your projects. The board files you upload, the projects you save, their earlier versions, and who you have shared each one with.
- How the app is used. For each day: how many times you pressed each toolbar button, and, for each board that comes in, its project name and the ECAD tool that made it. No finer timing and no record of the order you did things in.
- Your settings. The options you choose, on the server or in your browser's own storage.
- Support tickets you file: what you write, the comments on it, some details of the app's state when you filed it (the open project's name and format, the view, your browser and screen size, recent error messages), and the project and screenshot if you choose to attach them.
What is not done with it
- No advertising, no analytics or tracking services, and no third-party scripts in the pages.
- Nothing is sold or passed on, other than to the services below, for the purposes given.
Who else handles it
- Google signs you in.
- Cloudflare carries the site's traffic, and stores support tickets and their attachments while they are open.
- Anthropic: support tickets, and any project attached to one, are analysed with Anthropic's Claude to find the cause of a problem and suggest a fix or an answer. The developer reviews everything before anything is changed or sent to you.
- Slack carries notifications to the administrator: a request for access (your name and email address), and the progress of support tickets (your email address and what you wrote).
- Other users you share a project with see that project and your email address. The administrator can see the list of users and the usage counts above.
How long it is kept
- Projects: until you delete them, or the site closes.
- Support tickets: the attached project and screenshot are deleted when the ticket is finished; the ticket itself is kept.
- Your account and usage counts: until you ask for them to be deleted.
This is a trial service, provided as it is. It can change or close at any time, and you should keep your own copies of anything you put on it. Please don't upload sensitive or proprietary designs.
Your choices
- Delete your own projects at any time from the Projects list.
- Email [email protected] to see what is kept about you, to have it corrected, or to have your account and everything with it deleted.
